Five figure Powerball winning ticket was sold at a store in Manhattan

A lucky player in Hudson Valley may be in possession of a valuable Powerball ticket worth five figure sum without knowing it.

According to the New York lottery announcement, one of the two $50,000 winning third-tier prize ticket for the May 18 Powerball drawing was sold in Orange County at the Balmville Quick Stop on Route 9W in Newburgh.

On the other hand, the second third-tier prize winning ticket was sold at a store in Manhattan. 

To win the third-tier prize in Powerball lottery, the players must match four of the five white ball numbers and the Red Powerball number. 

There was no jackpot winner for May 18 draw. Hence, the jackpot prize for next Powerball draw on Saturday night will be an estimated $117 million.
