A Maryland lottery winner shares his strategy to buy the winning lottery ticket

A 30 years old Maryland woman was recently the winner of a $100,000 scratch-off prize, and Lottery officials say that its her third time in five years winning a prize of that caliber.

Still, the shock of winning hasn't worn off. “Are you kidding?" the woman said when Lottery officials if it was still exciting the third time around.

"This is as crazy as it was the other times. It’s unbelievable!” The unidentified winner is a stay-at-home mom in Wicomico County, according to a news release from the Maryland Lottery.

She said her lotto success can be attributed to doing her research. “My husband and I do the work on your website,” she told Lottery officials.

“We figure out which scratch-off games have been on sale for a long time but still have a lot of big-money prizes.”
