A Newmarket man was shocked after unexpected lottery win

Giuseppe Guido, of Newmarket, holds the big cheque in his hand after winning the second prize in Lotto 6/49 lottery. Guido won more than $75K with this Lotto 6/49 ticket. 

Guido said the officials that he plays the same numbers every week in the lottery. "I never thought they would win," he says.

The lucky winner, who is a customer care worker says he had to check the ticket three times before believing his luck. Guido purchased the winning ticket from Time Square convenience store on Main Street in Newmarket.

The father of two says it's to soon to make any real plans for his windfall yet. " I will treat us a special dinner, but nothing out of ordinary," he shared. 

Guido won the shocking prize from August 7 Lotto 6/49 lottery draw.
