Gaston county man is newest millionaire winning $2 million from Mega 7?s scratch-off ticket

A lucky Gaston County man became an overnight millionaire after winning $2 million in Mega 7?s scratch-off ticket.
Joshua King is the lucky winner who purchased the winning ticket while he and his son went to Times Turnaround on South Hope Road to grab some snacks.
While at the gas station, King said he decided to purchase a $20 Mega 7?s scratch-off ticket as well.
“The last time that I bought a Mega 7?s ticket, I won $200 so I decided to try that one again,” King said.
“We both just started crying. I was honestly laughing and crying at the same time,” King said.
“This is life-changing. I called my parents and I was kind of hyperventilating when I was talking to them.”
King has claimed the winning prize and received a lump sum of $1.2 million.
