A lucky North Carolina dad named Joshua King won a huge lottery jackpot worth $2 million while watch the movie 'Halloween' with son.

King bought the $20 ticket when he picked up his son and then stopped for snacks at a Times Turnaround convenience store on South New Hope Road in Gastonia. The store will receive a bonus of $20,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

He recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and chose the lump sum, taking home $852,126 after taxes. 

King plans to take his son on a vacation and save the rest for his sons education.
