Powerball jackpot rises to $700 million for Wednesday’s drawing

The Powerball jackpot kept on rising as there were no winners for the drawings and reached upto $700 million gor Wednesday’s draw.
This jackpot marked the fifth-largest jackpot in the game’s history and the eighth-largest in U.S. lottery history.
The jackpot will continue to grow till someone wins the next drawing. This is the 36th drawing since the jackpot was last hit on Aug. 3, when a $206.9 million jackpot went to a Pennsylvania player.
Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
