A lucky guy from Lindenwold in New Jersey wins a big jackpot recently

One lucky New Jersey lottery player woke up a whole lot richer on Tuesday. A single $222.6 million jackpot winning ticket was sold at Preet Food Mart in Lindenwold, Camden County, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The $222.6 million is the value of an annuity paid out over 30 years; if the winner takes the cash option, the value is $104.7 million. The ticket matched all five white balls drawn in Monday's Powerball drawing 3, 10, 33, 58 and 59 as well as the red Powerball of 9.

Tejinder Singh and Raj Ghotra, the owners of Preet Food Mart, will receive a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

They said the money will help their four kids and extended family. Singh wants to spoil his wife a bit, too. "Maybe I take her to vacation, or shopping. That's what she loves," he said.

The couple said that what's most special about the whole thing is that it's even possible. When they moved to the United States from India in 1995, they worked as convenience store clerks for a decade.
