Million dollar Powerball lottery ticket sold at Hudson Valley 7-Eleven
Someone in the Hudson Valley is a million dollars richer and might not even know it yet.
While there was no winner for the $999,300,000 Powerball jackpot, the New York Lottery announced a second-prize ticket was sold for the October 31, Powerball drawing.
The ticket is worth a guaranteed $1,000,000.
The New York ticket was sold at the Elmsford 7-Eleven, located at 37 E. Main St. Another second-prize winner in upstate New York used the Power Play option to double their prize to $2 million.
This ticket was sold at Parkway Drugs in Utica. Other second-prize winners were located in California, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 13, 19, 36, 39, and 59 with a Powerball number of 13.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is estimated to be $1.2 billion.
