$1 million Kentucky Lottery Mega Millions ticket sold in Fort Mitchell

A life changing ticket sold in Fort Mitchell for Friday night's Mega Millions draw. The lucky ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missing the Megaball to win the games second prize $1 million. 

Mega Millions winning numbers for Friday night were 24, 25, 47, 52, 57 and the Megaball was 24.

The lucky player just missed the jackpot prize $117 million for that night. If the ticket would matched the megaball number 24, they would take home $117 million. 

The security staff member of the lottery will execute a series of security check at the retailer, where the ticket was sold to confirm. 

The details about the winner will be available once the security check is completed and the winner claims the prize money. 

Before visiting the headquarters, the winner need to sign the back of the ticket and keep it securely. The winning player has 180 days from the date of draw to claim the winning prize. 

"We're looking forward to greeting Kentucky's newest millionaire." Said Kentucky lottery president and CEO Mary Harville.

Tuesday night's Mega Millions jackpot will be an estimated $128 million for lucky winner.
