A big Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1.5 million sold in Anaheim

According to the California Lottery announcement, a Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1,561,405 was sold at a convenience store in Anaheim for Friday night's drawing. 

The lucky winning ticket matched all five main numbers but missing the Gold megaball number to win $1.5 million prize. 

Mega Millions winning numbers for Friday night were 08, 31, 32, 34, 45 and the gold megaball number was 19.

Another Mega Millions ticket with all five numbers matched but missing the megaball number was sold in North Carolina and the ticket worth $1 million, the lottery association announced. 

The estimated jackpot prize for the lottery was $72 million but there was no ticket sold with all six numbers. Now the jackpot prize for Tuesday night is estimated $82 million. 

According to the California lottery, the odds of matching all six numbers of Mega Millions lottery are 1 in 302,575,350.
