$1 million Powerball winning ticket was sold in Gilford County

A Gilford County convenience store sold $1 million Powerball winning ticket for Wednesday night draw. 

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on North Main Street in Archdale and it was the largest prize won Nationally from the draw. 

The $2 ticket matched all five white ball numbers except the Red Powerball number to win the second prize worth $1 million.

Powerball winning numbers for Wednesday night draw were 07, 29, 37, 41, 43. The Red Powerball number was 05 with the powerplay of 2X. 

The lucky winner has not come forward yet to claim the big prize. Lottery players from the area are urged to check their tickets carefully. 

In addition to the second prize win, the draw also produced a $50,000 win in North Carolina for someone who bought a $2 ticket at the Mina Minimart on N.C. 39 South in Henderson.
