A group of 55 women won the share of $80 million Powerball jackpot

 A syndicate of 55 woman from Perth gym won the share of the life changing Powerball jackpot worth $8 million. 

The lucky woman's just needed three $1 coins and one $2 coins to secure a share of the massive $80 million Powerball jackpot in West Australia. 

The members of the syndicate of 55 women who go to Perth gym will take home about about 1.4 million each. 

"At the gym a couple of days ago our leading lady who runs the gym said 'I think we should put in for Powerball, come on, $5 each,'" Lorna, one of the women from the group said. She said she she only joined the syndicate in last minute decision. 

 She said she scraped a couple of coins together out of her parking ticket money and ran back in to join the list in last minute. 

She also share that, her winning share was purchased with a trio of $1 coins and one $2 coins she found searching around her car. 

She said the money would not only help out 43 families, but would help support the women who were running small businesses during the Pandemic. 

The Powerball winning numbers for the draw 1333 on Thursday, December 2 were 27, 30, 04, 05, 33, 26 and 19. The Powerball number was 08.
