A Kenora resident celebrates $100,000 ENCORE lottery win

Kenora resident won  $100,000 ENCORE ticket in Lotto Max Canada lottery

It appears to be a lucky night for a Kenora resident, who is now $100,000 richer after a recent Lotto Max draw. 

Kenora's Timothy Skead got lucky numbers and matched the last six of the seven Encore numbers in their exact order for May 21 Lotto Max Canada lottery draw to win $100,000.

"I like to play Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 when the jackpot gets bigger." Skead said in a press release. 

The lucky winner said that he checked his ticket three times usuing the OLG lottery app to make sure that he had the winning numbers. "I checked it three times just to make sure. I kept saying myself no way!"

He said that he has to call his wife to tell her that they are debt free now.

He revealed his plans to the officials that he will purchase a new vehicle for his family, plan a holiday trip and share the prize with his children. 

Skead purchased his lucky winning ticket at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Highway 17 in Kenora.
