A big million dollar lottery ticket is sold out in Upper East side store

The Upper East Side might have another millionaire. A second-prize winning Powerball ticket was sold on the Upper East Side on Friday, according to the New York Lottery.

The ticket, worth $1 million, was sold at Peoples Place Gourmet Deli at 1391 Second Ave., near East 72nd Street, the Lottery said.

While that seems like a big payday for a $3 ticket, the Powerball's full jackpot is up to $532 million for Monday's drawing. To win the big prize, all five numbers — and the powerball — need to match with the randomly selected numbers.

That means your odds are a staggering nearly 1 in 300 million. For the lucky second prize winner, their task was to simply have five matching numbers, bring their odds down to a much more realistic 1 in 11.6 million.

If you're wondering if you were Saturday's new millionaire, the winning numbers were 30, 36, 49, 52, 63, and 16.
