A new winning lottery ticket is sold out in Graham recently

A South Carolina man is the lucky winner of a $1 million lottery prize after buying a ticket in Graham.

Justin Steen, of Cassat, South Carolina, bought a $10 scratch-off from the Graham Mart on South Main Street and walked away with the $1 million prize.

Steen came to lottery headquarters on Wednesday and chose the lump sump reward of $600,000. He took home $429,003 after taxes.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

The winner told the lottery officials that he will be going to pay all his due bills after claiming the winning prize money.
