Another scratch off lottery player from Seattle wins $2 million recently

Imagine walking into a grocery store, making a single change, and leaving a millionaire.

That dream came true for a Seattle man who won a $2 million jackpot from a scratch-off lottery ticket, according to Washington's Lottery.

The man told Washington's Lottery he plans to use the money for investments, a down payment on a new home, and dream vacations to Copenhagen and the Swiss Alps.

After wrapping up work on a Friday, the man popped into his local Safeway to purchase his weekly lottery tickets, Washington's Lottery told KOMO News in an email.

But rather than buy his normal Powerball tickets, Washington's Lottery said, he "splurged" and bought a $30 Chrome Scratch ticket.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
