Someone in Connecticut wins a $1 million Powerball lottery prize

A lucky player in Connecticut is now millionaire after purchasing a Powerball ticket in Danbury. This is for the second time in a week that someone from Connecticut won million dollar Powerball ticket. 

The Connecticut winning ticket was sold for the Monday night's Powerball drawing.

Officials said, there was no indication yet about where and to whom the Powerball ticket was sold. The Connecticut lottery is asking anyone with the latest numbers to step forward and claim their $1 million prize.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, the million dollar ticket was sold at the Mill Plain Package Store at 71 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. 

The winning numbers for Monday night's drawing were 02, 13, 32, 33, 48. The Red Powerball number was 22.
