Georgia Resident won Powerball lottery prize worth $50K

A winning Powerball lottery ticket sold in Georgia. The winner woke up and became $50,000 richer Tuesday morning.

A Powerball ticket sold in the Peach State matched four white balls and the red Powerball in Monday night’s drawing, according to the Georgia Lottery.

The winning numbers are 24, 29, 42, 51, 54 and the Powerball is 16.

No one won the big prize of $391 million, so Wednesday’s jackpot has climbed to $412 million. Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
