Greenville guy wins a big jackpot after buying the winning ticket from a local store

A winning lottery ticket was sold at a store in Greenville.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said, “You would think I’d be jumping up and down screaming, but I couldn’t,” and said they were shocked.

The winning ticket was bought at the Garden Spot, at 1913 Cedar Lane Road. The winner beat the odds of 1 in 900,000 to win $300,000 in the Carolina Gold 100X game.

No more top prizes remain in the game, so the Carolina Gold 100X game has ended.

The winner of the lottery ticket game plans to share their winnings with friends and family. Garden Spot store received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.

The winner has 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.
