Lotto 47 winning ticket worth $5.42 million sold in Michigan

Lotto 47 jackpot was won on Wednesday as a winning ticket worth $5.42 million was sold through the Michigan Lottery website.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn -- 02-05-14-30-32-42 -- to win the grand prize for the drawing held on Sept. 28.
The previous largest jackpot of the year was won on April 20, 2022 when a $3.39 million jackpot was won by a player who bought a ticket at the Meijer gas station, located at 1174 Centerville Road in Sturgis.
The winner of Wednesday’s drawing has one year to come forward and claim the prize, after which the winning amount will go for charity.
