Man played Powerball lottery for 20 years finally wins $50K prize

The Missouri Lottery announced, a man who played Powerball lottery every week for 20 years has finally won big prize. 

The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous has won $50K Powerball prize in November 6 drawing, according to the Missouri lottery news release. 

He says he played the lottery every week for two decades. He purchased the winning ticket at Lakers Eagle Stop in Camdenton.

"I usually spend $10 once a week just for the weekend drawing. Been doing it like 20 years." He said in a release on December 20. "Finally won one!"

The winner is very happy and excited for the win. He said his extra cash would be helpful for his retirement. 

Camdenton is about 150 miles southeast of Kansas City, Missouri.
