The jackpot prize was not won, leading to an estimated $148 million

A Mega Millions ticket sold in Pennsylvania won $1 million, narrowly missing out on the $125 million jackpot, lottery officials say.

The ticket matched five winning numbers in the drawing Friday, April 12, but not the Mega Ball, the Pennsylvania Lottery said.

Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $148 million, with a cash option of approximately $68 million, for the next drawing on Tuesday, April 16, the national Mega Millions site said.

The winning numbers were 1, 12, 14, 18, and 66, with a Mega Ball of 16.

More than 28,000 other tickets sold in Pennsylvania also won prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000 in the drawing, the lottery said.

Mega Millions tickets sold in Missouri, North Carolina, and New York also matched five white numbers to win.
