A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in New York City on July 31. The winning numbers were 2, 11, 48, 58, 65 for the white balls and 13 for the red Powerball.
To win the jackpot, players must match all five white balls and the red Powerball number. Powerball tickets cost $2 and can be purchased at any New York Lottery retailer until 10 p.m. on draw nights, which are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m.
