North Carolina man won Powerball jackpot worth $100,000

A lucky man from North Carolina nqmes Michael Buck won a whopping sum of $100,000 with a Powerball ticket that he bought from Walmart.
The winning ticket matched the numbers on four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000 on his Power Play ticket, and it doubled to $100,000 with the 2X Power Play multiplier.
Buck recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and took home $71,017 after federal and state taxes.
Buck plans to use a large portion of the money to boost his retirement and will buy something for his wife with the rest.
Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
