A Wellesley resident won $100K ENCORE prize

Jacqueline Kube of Wellesley is celebrating her $100K prize after saying yes to ENCORE. She matched the last six of the seven ENCORE numbers in their exact order in the July 28, 2021 Lotto 6/49 draw.

The lucky winner also won $2 on another one of her ENCORE selection, bringing her total win to $100,002.

"I play the lottery here and there. I usually play Lotto 6/49 and I always add ENCORE." Jacqueline shared with the officials while at the OLG prize centre in Toronto.

Jacqueline, a mother and grandmother checked her ticket while at the store. She says she had two tickets to check. She won a free play on the first ticket and the second one was the winning ticket.

"The store owner said 'congratulations' you won! and I was very confused - I thought I won $1,000 or $5,000!" She said.

The winner, who is a business owner, plans to save her winnings for retirement, invest and share with her grandchildren and treat herself to a spa day.
