Search for the biggest Powerball winner of this year R158 million jackpot
The most fortune person from SA bags the biggest Powerball jackpot for 2021.
According to the National Lottery Operator Ithuba, a North West resident won the biggest Powerball jackpot R158 million from June 27 draw.
The lucky winner spent R15 on the winning ticket, using manual selection method to match all the winning numbers for that night.
Powerball winning numbers for July 27 drawing were 05, 12, 15, 28, 29 and the Power number was 14.
The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the jackpot draw using a banking app.
"The lucky winner walks away with the second highest Powerball jackpot in the history of the South African National lottery, making them not only the biggest jackpot winner of 2021 but biggest online jackpot winner since Ithuba took over as the Operator in 2015." Ithuba Chief Executive Charmaine Mabuza said in a release.
The lottery officials said, the Powerball Plus jackpot more than R17 million was also won from the same draw.
The National lottery Operator Ithuba urged people to check their tickets as they are looking forward for both the winners to claim their prize.
