South Carolina Education Lottery paid $250,000 lottery prize to an Upstate women

$250,000 winning lottery ticket sold at a Spartanburg Convenience store

According to the South Carolina lottery officials, an Upstate women won $250,000 in scratch off lottery at a convenience store in Spartanburg county.

The lucky women won the prize in the $5 Giant Jumbo Bucks Ticket game. The winning ticket was purchased from OM Food Mart on South Church Street in Roebuck.

The lottery officials said that the women stayed to scratch the ticket in case she won.

"It was wonderful," the women said.

She told the South Carolina Education Lottery that she is going to spend her quarter of a million dollar prize to pay off her house.
