Two Lucky residents from Virginia hit big prize in Virginia Lottery

Two big winners are from Virginia hits $1 million each in Virginia Lottery.

Sean Davis, the first winner, who was just playing for fun along with his wife hits $1 million in scratch ticket of Virginia Lottery. The lucky ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven at 8228 Gunston Corner Lanch in Lorton.

He and his wife had made a midweek evening routine since the Pandemic began. They used to sit on their deck in the evening and scratch the Virginia lottery ticket just for fun. This was an unexpected win for the lovely couple. 

Davis said " It just became our Wednesday night thing to break up the monotony of Covid19 life". That evening when Davis scratch the $1 million Royale ticket and discovered that he had won the Top Prize of the Game which is $1 million. 

"I don't believe it" he told the Virginia lottery officials when he visited to claim his prize. He also said that it was more shocking for him than getting excited. The loving couple had a fun time schedule with the scratch ticket and hits the Top prize. 

He choose to receive a one time cash option of $601,684 before Taxes. The ticket selling store received $10,000 as a bonus for selling the winning ticket. 

Rosaline Abdool won $1 million Powerball ticket 

Meanwhile, somewhere in Manassas, Rosaline Abdool had won $1 million in Powerball lottery drawing for March 10.

She purchased the $1 million ticket from Giant Food, located at 10100 Dumfries Road at Manassas. She was lucky enough to match the first five numbers for the Powerball ticket and hit $1 million prize.  She did not match the Red Powerball number. She choose the Lucky Dip option and allowed the lottery terminal to select the numbers randomly for her ticket. 

The store received $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. She was even lucky for the store. 

The next Powerball draw will take place on Saturday. Powerball lottery draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
