Two big Powerball winning tickets were sold in Northern California

Two Northern California players found Christmas gift on Saturday evening as they were among four in the state to be in possession tickets worth more than half a million dollar. 

A total of four Powerball winning tickets matching five of the six numbers were sold in the state in Saturday's mega jackpot draw. Each of the tickets were sold in Auburn, north of Sacramento in Placer County; Los Banos, east of Gilroy in Merced County; Nimpomo on the Central California Coast; Tujunga in Southern California, according to the California Lottery.

The Powerball winning numbers for Saturday night's draw were 27, 29, 45, 55 and 58.

Each of the winning ticket worth $554,800 after matching the first five numbers drawn on Saturday night. 

The Auburn ticket was sold at the Arco AM/PM at 13405 Lincoln Way, and the Los Banos winning ticket was sold at Save Mart Supermarket at 1400 Mercey Springs Road, according to the officials. 

There was no jackpot winner for Saturday night's $400 million draw. Hence, the jackpot prize for next Powerball draw on Monday night is jumped to $416 million.
