Virginia Woman Surprised by $150,000 Powerball Win with Online Ticket Purchase

Teresa Seamon of South Boston, Virginia, experienced a shock when she discovered she had won $150,000 in the Dec. 16 Powerball drawing.
Seamon, an avid online lottery player, matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball number. Opting for the Power Play feature, which triples the prize, brought her total winnings to $150,000.
Overwhelmed with the unexpected windfall, Seamon said, "I almost passed out when I realized I’d won! I’m still in shock!" The Powerball drawing was a fortunate one for her, turning a $50,000 win into a substantial $150,000 prize.
