A lucky Marysville guy wins a big jackpot worth in millions in lotto lottery game

All eyes are on the largest-ever $1.9 billion Powerball jackpot, set to grow once more if no one matches the numbers drawn Monday night.

But don't sleep on those smaller lottery games. Ohio Lottery officials say an auto-pick Classic Lotto ticket worth $39.3 million was recently sold at the Village Pantry convenience store on West Fifth Street in Marysville.

The winning ticket matched the five numbers drawn Saturday night: 6, 17, 25, 32, 34 and 42.

As of Monday evening, the winner hadn't yet come forward to claim their prize. The Village Pantry location also will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.

The Classic Lotto jackpot was last hit in Nov. 2020. After 16 years of playing the same numbers, a group of 10 public employees calling themselves the Lucky 10 won a jackpot worth $5.9 million, Cleveland.com reported.
