History of Tattslotto

A product of the Tatts Group, the game has been marketed under the name The Lott since June 1st, 2016. On June 22, 1972, Melbourne television station HSV7 broadcast the inaugural TattsLotto draw, which was presented by David Johnston and Lucy Kiraly.

When it began in the mid-to-late 1990s, it was drawn weekly on Saturday evenings on Channel Seven (in Melbourne), Prime (in Southern NSW and Victoria), and the Seven Network and Network Ten affiliate Southern Cross Television (in Tasmania). Draws are currently televised on 7 TWO and allied regional stations every Saturday night at roughly 7:30 p.m. (AEST).

Lotto Game Style

Using a single barrel of 45 numbers, six winning numbers and two additional supplemental numbers are selected. The player selects six numbers from 1 to 45 to play one game. Better sources are required here. It is possible for players to play games in multiples of 12, 18, 24, 36, and so on. As a Quick Pick entry, the computer will produce a set of randomly generated numbers for each game. Some New Year's Megadraws may pay out as much as 30 million dollars, if not more, based on the number of accurate numbers in division 1 (six correct numbers).
