A Powerball ticket bought at Love’s Travel Stop situated at 400 Steward Road has hit the $1 million jackpot by matching all five numbers drawn on Monday night.

The winner, whose identity remains undisclosed, successfully matched the numbers 24-33-35-37-42, securing the million-dollar prize.

Expressing excitement and anticipation, Wade Embree, the manager at Love’s Travel Stop in Rochelle, expressed hopes that the winner might be a familiar face from among their regular customers in town.

Embree, who has overseen this Love’s location for about five years, eagerly awaits the possibility of a patron strolling in and proudly announcing, 'I’m a millionaire.'

With Rochelle boasting a population of just over 9,000, Embree highlighted the community's fantastic support for their store since its opening.

Grateful for being located in such a kind and supportive community, Love’s Travel Stop is set to receive a $10,000 bonus as a 1% commission for selling the winning ticket.
