$50K Powerball ticket sold in Clarksburg as main jackpot remains unclaimed

The $98 million Powerball jackpot is still up for grabs, but a smaller winning Powerball ticket was sold at a 7-11 in Clarksburg last week.

The $50,000 winner, Natanis C., purchased the ticket on Thursday, April 11, according to the West Virginia Lottery. The next Powerball drawing is on Saturday, April 20 at 11 p.m.

The last Powerball jackpot winner is from Oregon, but their details have yet to be released.

The April 6 drawing for the $1.3 billion jackpot was the eighth-biggest lottery prize in U.S. history and the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot in history.

The largest U.S. lottery jackpot won was $2.04 billion in California in 2022.
