A fortunate SuperLotto Plus lottery player from Simi valley wins a big jackpot

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Saturday evening’s SuperLotto Plus drawing, pushing the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing to $13 million.

There was one ticket sold matching five numbers, but missing the Mega number, at a store in Simi Valley in the 5100 block of E. Los Angeles Ave.

It is worth $32,487, according to the California Lottery.

The numbers drawn Saturday night were 1, 2, 37, 40, 42 and the Mega number was 5.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.
