A fortunate Rochester guy wins a big jackpot in winning take 5 lottery

A Rochester resident has hit the jackpot with a top-prize winning ticket for the June 16 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing, as announced by the New York Lottery.
The winning ticket, worth $29,571, was purchased at 791 Discount Liquor, located at 791 Jay Street. TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery prizes can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.
