Lottery officials is again finding his winner for a lottery jackpot worth of $100k

South Dakota Lottery is searching for a lucky winner who never claimed a $100,000 prize.

According to their website, a $100,000 winning South Dakota Powerball ticket was sold at the Total Stop Food Store in Canistota on Dec. 11, 2021 — but despite a roughly 1 in 900,000 chance of winning, the lucky individual has yet to claim the prize.

Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize, meaning Canistota's winner has until June 9 to redeem the ticket.

The lottery officials requested his players that, " Everyone please check your old tickets once again and if someone does find that he is the winner of the lottery draw that we are seeking of, then please contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone who believes he is a winner can contact the lottery officials by their contact numbers given in their website or simply by visiting the nearest headquarters of the lottery.
