A lucky Durand gas station's guy wins $1.5 million recently in a lottery

Someone in Durand is a newly minted millionaire on Friday. The Michigan Lottery says a lucky player won $1.5 million with a Super Lucky 7's fast cash ticket purchased at the Coffield Oil Co. gas station at 707 N. Saginaw St. on Thursday.

The winner did not immediately come forward to claim their prize. The lucky winner has 365 days to claim their prize before the ticket expires and they forfeit the money.

Super Lucky 7's is one of 11 fast cash games from the Michigan Lottery. They range in price from $2 to $20 that all feed into the same progressive jackpot.
