A Midland County man is now $100K richer after winning $100K in the Michigan Lottery's Powerball game.

Troy Moulton, of Sandford who is now $100K richer, matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball number drawn for September 11.

The Powerball winning numbers for September 11 were - 20, 31, 38, 40, 49. The Powerball number was 21 with 2X powerplay.

Moulton purchased his powerplay ticket at Ellis Party Store, located at 278 West Saginaw Road in Midland. Thanks to the powerplay feature which multiplied the winnings to $100K.

"I like to play the Powerball game when the jackpot gets high," said Moulton. "I always play 21 as the Powerball number, so when I was checking the winning numbers, I knew right away that I had at least matched the Powerball."

When he went through rest of the numbers and he saw four more numbers are on the line, he said to his wife, "I think we just won some good money."

"I feel blessed and very fortunate to have won $100K," Moulton said. He plans to save his windfall.
