A West Charlotte man won $1 million Mega Millions lottery prize for July

Someone in West Charlotte is $1 million richer after winning the Mega Millions lottery prize on July weekend. 

Mega Millions lottery drawing for July 3 produced a $1 million winner.

Winning numbers of Mega Millions lottery for July 3 draw were 08, 31, 32, 34, 45. The gold megaball number was 19 and the Megaplier was 2X. 

The lucky winning ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missing the gold megaball to win $1 million prize. 

The fortune ticket was purchased at 77-Eleven Store on Freedom Drive Charlotte, North Carolina. The lucky store will receive $10,000 as a bonus for selling the winning ticket. 

The odds of winning all five white ball numbers are 1 in 12.5 million. Whereas the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1 in 302.5 million. 

All the winners have 180 days from the date of drawing to claim their prize. 

There was no ticket sold with all six numbers for the draw. Hence, the jackpot prize for next draw is estimated $82 million as an annuity with cash value of $57.7 million for Tuesday night.
