$3.3 million win for Loganholme woman in Tattslotto draw

A Loganholme woman’s long-held dream to explore a new career is about to become a reality after she scored $3.3 million on New Year’s Eve.

The woman’s winning entry was purchased at Nextra Hyperdome City News, Shop 223, Logan Hyperdome, 3828-3846 Pacific Highway, Loganholme.

The lottery official talked to the winner and confirmed the win.

“I got up on Sunday morning a bit late, went for a walk, and thought, ‘I better check my tickets’,” she explained.

“At first, I checked another ticket, and I won $35 on that. I was pretty happy with that. Then I checked this ticket!

“It was a nice surprise! A good way to start the New Year.

“The ticket is now on the fridge where I can see it. “It’s lovely. It’s really lovely! I still do not believe it.”

While still digesting the news she’s now a multi-millionaire, the Queenslander shared she had some initial thoughts about how she would best enjoy her Lotto loot.

“This is going to pay the house off, and I want to change careers this year,” she said.

“It’s definitely come at the right time. It’s going to be a great 2023!”
