A big $1 million lotto lottery ticket is sold out in Upper West side

Keep an eye out, there may be a new millionaire in the neighborhood. One thing’s for sure, there was definitely one walking the streets this week, even if they didn’t know it at the time.

A million dollar lotto ticket was sold right here on the Upper West Side. The winning ticket was sold at Millennium Smoke and News at 2345 Broadway (between 85th and 86th).

We spoke to an employee at the store who told us that the winning ticket was sold on Friday and they were hoping the news would bring in more business.

The million dollar winner was able to match five of the six numbers in the Mega Millions drawing, hitting the 5, 10, 28, 52, and 63.

Sadly, they missed the gold ball, 18, netting them the second place million prize in lieu of the massive $940 million six ball jackpot.

No one beat the 1 in 302,575,350 odds and hit all six balls. That means the jackpot continues to go up.
