A big $2 million winning lottery ticket is sold out in Longview recently

A winning $2 million lottery ticket has been sold in Longview, the Texas Lottery Commission has announced.

The winning ticket was sold at Murphy Express at 301 E. Loop 281, according to the lottery commission’s website. The news broke following the Tuesday night Mega Millions drawing.

That location previously sold a winning $3 million ticket in 2021, according to CBS 19. A winning $1 million ticket also was sold in Longview in August. 

The identity of the winner has not been disclosed. The winning ticket has sparked a wave of excitement and speculation within the community, as neighbors and friends eagerly try to uncover the identity of the fortunate winner.
