A big $250,000 winning lottery ticket is sold out in Foxboro

A $250,000 winning ticket was sold in town for the Mass Lottery’s special New Year’s Day Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle.

One of four $250,000 winners, the local ticket was sold at The Country Store, 212 North St. MassLottery’s first $1 million prize winner of 2024 was sold at the American Legion Morrisette Post 294 in Quincy.

The post receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale. There were also six $25,000 winners. The New Year’s Day drawing was the culmination of a series of drawings that began Oct. 20. On 11 consecutive Fridays, one $20,000 prize winner was chosen.

Winners of the weekly $20,000 prizes remained eligible to win a prize in the New Year’s Day drawing. Sales of Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle tickets began Oct. 16.

Every 100th ticket sold across the state resulted in a $100 cash voucher. Tickets that won a $100 cash voucher also remained eligible for the New Year’s Day drawing.
