A big $444.6 million is sold out recently in mega millions lottery game

It's a lucky day for a lucky winner in Arizona! The state's latest Mega Millions lottery drawing resulted in a massive $444.6 million jackpot, and it has been won by a single ticket holder.

The winning numbers drawn on Friday night were 8, 24, 25, 44, 51, and Mega Ball 2. The ticket was sold at a Circle K store in the city of Glendale. 

The winner is expected to take home more than $300 million after taxes, making it the largest jackpot ever won in Arizona. The previous record was $241 million.

This is the eighth largest jackpot in US lottery history and the third largest Mega Millions jackpot ever.

The winner has yet to come forward and claim their prize, but they are expected to do so soon. It's likely they will opt for the lump-sum payout of $282.9 million.
