A big winning lottery ticket is sold out in Giant eagle recently

A scratch-off lottery ticket revealed a sweet prize for a Giant Eagle customer in Westmoreland County.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket in "The Game of Life" was sold at the Giant Eagle grocery store on Towne Center Drive.

The scratch-off game costs $10 and offers a top prize of $1,000 a week for life. There is also a cash option of $1.04 million.

The winner's name was not announced. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
