A Columbian resident wins a big jackpot recently in lotto lottery game

A Columbia resident has made history by becoming the biggest lotto winner in the state's history. The lucky individual won the big prize of $20 million in Saturday's Powerball drawing.

The winning numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26, with the Powerball number of 4. The lucky winner chose to remain anonymous and only purchased the ticket at a local convenience store.

The store owner, who has been selling Powerball tickets since the game started in 1992, said he was thrilled to have sold the winning ticket to the lucky winner.

The winner's identity remains a mystery, but the store owner said that it was a regular customer who purchased the ticket.

The lucky winner will have the choice of taking the full prize in a lump sum or taking the prize in 30 annual payments.

The winning ticket is the second largest prize ever won in the state and the fourth largest Powerball prize ever won nationwide.
