A fortunate Davidson County man bags a big jackpot recently in a lottery game

Aurelio Agustin of Lexington tried his luck on a $25 scratch-off ticket and fortunately won a big jackpot worth of $100,000 prize.

Agustin bought his lucky Spectacular Riches ticket from Jol Food Mart on Lake Road in Thomasville.

Now the store owner who sold out the winning lottery ticket to Agustin will also get a bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket.

He arrived at lottery headquarters last Monday to collect his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,507.

The Spectacular Riches game debuted in October 2021 with eight $1 million top prizes and 20 $100,000 prizes.

Two $1 million prizes and three $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
