A lucky Macomb county guy scoops a big jackpot recently in a lottery

A second look at a Michigan Lottery ticket purchased in Macomb County recently secured big bucks for one man. According to a Michigan Lottery news release, a 64-year-old St. Clair County resident won $500,000 in a Club Keno Extra ticket.

The winning ticket owner, who chose to remain anonymous, matched eight of his Club Keno numbers — 01-05-08-18-27-33-46-55-64-71 — in the Extra drawing 2288598 to win the prize.

He bought the ticket at SD Liquor, located at 50093 North Gratiot Ave., near Cotton Road, in Chesterfield Township. "I play Club Keno often, but I just started playing this new set of Club Keno numbers a few months ago," the winner said in the release.

"I scanned my ticket on the Lottery app when all the drawings were done. At first, I thought I'd won $500, but after a few seconds I realized it said $500,000 and I couldn't believe it. Winning sure feels good!" He recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize.
