A lucky pair of Cambridge won $25,000 a year for life lottery prize

Liam Parrott and Adrian Collis of Cambridge is celebrating their grand lottery prize. The lucky pair matched all five main numbers to win the second prize $25,000 per year for life with the Daily Grand for the June 28, 2021 draw. 

Liam chose to took the one time lump sum payment of $500,000 for his windfall. He plans to complete some home renovations and has other plans with his winnings. 

According to the OLG lottery, Liam is a regular lottery player and he has been playing Daily Grand in a group with Adrian for two years. 

"We've been replying our Quick pick numbers and won for the same." He shared while at the OLG prize centre in Toronto for pick up their winnings. 

It was a surreal moment for Liam when he discovered of the big win. "It was hard to believe because it was such a shock. I couldn't wait to tell my wife." He said. 

"My 25th wedding anniversary is coming up, so my wife and I will plan a special trip to Ireland together." He smiled. 

Daily Grand is a National Lottery organised game with the top prize being $1,000 a day for life for matching all five main numbers and the grand numbers. The second prize is $25,000 a year for life for matching the five main numbers alone. The ticket for Daily Grand cost $3 per play and the draw for the lottery takes place every Monday and Thursday.
